Exfoliate gently: 24–48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.

Avoid moisturiser, oils, or lotion: On the day of your wax – clean, dry skin is best.

Don’t shave: Before your appointment, as shaving can make waxing less effective.

Avoid sun exposure: For 24 hours before your wax – sunburnt skin cannot be waxed.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing: To avoid irritation post-treatment.

Pain relief: If you’re sensitive, you may take a mild pain reliever 30 minutes before (check with your pharmacist if unsure)

Post waxing :
To soothe your skin and avoid irritation:

No heat for 24–48 hours: Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, and intense exercise.

Avoid touching or scratching: The waxed area to prevent irritation or infection.

Wear loose clothing: To reduce friction and allow the skin to breathe.

No tanning: Avoid sun exposure or fake tan for 24–48 hours as skin may be more sensitive and prone to pigmentation.

No exfoliation for 48 hours: Let your skin settle first. After that, gentle exfoliation 2–3 times a week helps prevent ingrown hairs.
